BMW Z Series (E52, E85, E86, E89, G29)

BMW has been producing all sorts of cars over the years, and the BMW Z models are a line of roadsters that were introduced back in 1989. The “Z” in the name stands for zunkunft, which is German for the word future. The car has seen many different variants, from a roadster makeup to a coupe and sports car. There have also been different concept cars produced as a part of the series lineup. The first generation was the BMW Z1, which was a two-seat roadster produced from 1989-1991. The doors would drop down into the door sills instead of opening out or up. The second generation Z3 was a roadster produced from 1995-2002 and was a car featured in the James Bond movie GoldenEye. The third generation Z8 was produced from 2000-2003. The fourth generation Z4 was produced from 2002-2008. The fifth generation of the Z series (and the second-generation Z4) was produced from 2009-2016. The sixth generation of the Z series is the third generation Z4 introduced in 2018. Whatever Z model you might own, it’s important to always use OEM parts on your ride. OEM parts are made specifically for your car.
