German automaker BMW has produced many different series models over the years, and the BMW 8 series is one of them. The line of grand tourers (cars designed for high speeds and long-distance driving) were first manufactured back in 1990 under the E31 model code. The cars were only available as a two-door coupe initially. In 1999, the cars were discontinued because of the lack of sales. In 2018, however, the model range was revived with a second generation - the G15 8 series. The G15 8 series models are available in convertible, two-door coupe, and four-door “gran coupe” body styles. The G15 models were unveiled at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France - an automobile racing event held every year.
